1971 - 1978 : Undergraduate and postgraduate education in Medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.
1978 - 1982 : Specialization Training in Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nuclear Medicine.
October - November 1980 : SMedical Applications of Radioisotopes course organized by the International Atomic Energy Commission in the Soviet Union.
1980 – 1982 : Gray scale and Doppler Ultrasonography applications and Dicle University between 1982-1990. Ultrasound consultancy at the Faculty of Medicine.
1982 - 1983 : Reserve officer military service at Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Department of Nuclear Medicine.
1983-1990 : Working as a specialist and associate professor at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nuclear Medicine.

Rüzgar Gülü Çıkmazı No: 1/4 Kızıltoprak, Kadıköy, he performs and evaluates laboratory tests related to Scintigraphy, Ultrasonography, Doppler USG and Fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB), especially in thyroid diseases, and applies Radioactive iodine treatment.

I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. I specialized in nuclear medicine at the same faculty between 1978 and 1982. I completed my military service at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic in Ankara GATA in 1982-1983. Between 1984 and 1990, I worked as a specialist and associate professor at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nuclear Medicine. I became an associate professor in 1989.


I worked in the Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in the USA in 1991-1992. I was involved in nuclear medicine practices and research and sonographic applications.


Between 1993 and 1999, I worked as a doctor and manager at the imaging center we established in Kadıköy Kızıltoprak, Istanbul. In 1999, I became a professor at Abanat İzzet Baysal University (AIBU) and worked at AIBU Faculty of Medicine between 1999-2002. I retired in 2002 and continued to serve in our current private health institution in Istanbul.


1I took part in a course organized by the IAEA in the Soviet Union on basic nuclear medicine examinations, thyroid disease imaging and laboratory examinations for 3 months at 980.


In 1989, I worked on thyroid disease radiology (scintigraphy and USG) in Japan for 2 months.


I am one of the first few ultrasonography practitioners in Turkey and have been performing all kinds of USG examinations of the thyroid and other organs since 1980. I am a member of the Medical Ultrasonography Association. Between 1984 and 1990, I also served as a USG consultant in the Radiology department of Dicle University Faculty of Medicine.


Between 1998 and 2002, I taught Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Yeditepe University.


Between 2003 and 2005, I taught Nuclear Medicine at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine.


In 2007, I was invited to the establishment of Istanbul AREL UNIVERSITY and was appointed to the board of trustees. I was appointed as the Founding Rector. I gave student lectures at the Faculty of Health Sciences. I teach Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, which was established in 2018.
